Canadian Real Estate News April 2011

So, it is officially spring and start of a hot time for real estate market. What are the news in Canadian Real Estate this month?

Interestingly enough, the sales in March of 2011 were down 17.6 % comparing to March 2010. But the average single home price (including condominiums) is up to $346,148 (these are Ottawa numbers). This is the picture that is seen across Canada. If you want to find out why you can do that by reading Canadian Real Estate News April 2011. Thank you Ottawa Real Estate Board for the stats.

In the other news, Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is having it's fundraiser throughout Canada on May 14th, 2011 . This organization raises funds for support of shelters for women and ending violence against women and children. Canada, please visit your local Royal LePage office to see where would the fundraiser take place in your city on May 14th, 2011. To find out more about this fantastic organization please read Canadian Real Estate News April 2011. And if you are not in Canada or do not have Royal LePage office in your city, you can still donate here.

Don't miss another important note in this issue. If you are thinking about renovating, see what are the best places in your home to invest in. You might be surprised how a small change can make a big difference.

By the way, if you or anyone you know is interested in finding out about real estate in Ottawa or perhaps looking for a trusted name in real estate in your area, I can help. Would you like to know what your home is really worth? I can provide you with complimentary evaluation. My last listing in Kanata sold in 1 day.
